It was an honor and a privilege to work with Alan over the last few years. He was an inspiration to me and I learned a great deal from him during my travels to West Point. I played phone tag with him back in January when I called to see how he was doing. Instead of getting an update on him, he wanted to know how I was doing and what the kids were up to. He was always thinking of others before himself. I will never forget one of my first visits to WP, Alan took me around and showed me many parts of campus that were restricted to the average person. On the trip home, Biff flipped through my camera and wanted to know "how the heck did you get these pics?" I told him I had special Alan Fox connections! Pamm -- my sincere condolences to you and the family. I think of him often, he is still very much in thoughts and prayers. He will be missed. |
