| I met John in Heidelberg, Germany when we served on the West Point Founders Day Dinner Committee in the early/mid nineties. When I became the committee chairman, John was the first one to call me and ask how he could help. He did that for the next several years until one year he almost apologetically informed me he was headed back to CONUS and wouldn't be able to help out the next year. In my nearly 21 years in Germany, John is simply one of those people who made a lasting impression on me. To you John - God Bless! Be thou at peace. To his family, thanks for letting John share his talents and work ethic with me. You have my deepest sympathies. Beat Navy! |
