Ryan: When Tom Whitehouse told me of your death, I broke down and cried for hours. I don't know if it was due to personal sadness at your loss or at the general injustice I felt that someone as good and noble as yourself could be taken from us prematurely. Regardless, I miss you and your friendship. I remember when you, a few of the other F-1 Smacks, and I shared a ride to Penn State during the winter of 2001. That was a great time and it helped me (the jerk upperclassman) get to know you guys as people. You are and will always be a good man, worthy of emulation and respect. I hope that when I cross the river for the last time, I will find you, Garrison Avery, and all the others waiting for me on the other side. God bless you. Your Friend, Eddie |
