My condolences to the family of my classmate, Pat Webster. I am the proud possessor of one of Pat's oil paintings of The Plain, looking northward with Storm King Mountain on the left and Constitution Island on the right. It is a snow scene and I had the "honor" to assist Pat by holding the easel during a snowstorm. It measures about 20" x 42" and is signed ALW in the lower right corner. I had it framed in a plain gold 3" frame and it hangs over my piano where it has hung for fifty years. Bill Raiford, USMA 1952 - Past Class President |
