May 30, 2010 -- Memorial Day in Scottsdale, Arizona where Mrs. Ong and I are visiting our daughter. The morning sky is blue, the desert air is crisp, and the sun's rays are mild on my wrinkled face -- it is a great day to be alive! Today is also a good day to remember my classmate Steve Buchheim who served his country well. Be thou at peace, my friend. Brigadier General Ramon M.
