What a tragedy. My heart goes out to Evelyn and the Bowers family. From the first time I met Bill at Camp Buckner in 1976 through the last time I saw him at Camp Victory early this year, I have nothing but fond memories. Bill was a great officer and a great friend. And I can attest that the work he was doing in Iraq was important and he was making a difference. Well done, Bill. Rest in peace. |
