Charlie Sell will be sorely missed by me as a personal friend and also as a treasured classmate who contributed much of his time, effort and talent to class activities and business endeavors. He was a valuable member while serving on the Class Executive Committee and in particular as Chairman of the Class Gift Committee. His professional and intellectual input while guiding his committee in selection of the Class 60th year gift to the Academy is reflected in the citation and plaque which the committee members presented to him on 13 January 2009. Inscribed on the plaque they cited Charlie's deep sense of duty and inspiration which were essential in completing their difficult task, and they proclaimed their pride in serving with Charlie Sell. As we all, his classmates, do proclaim. God rest you, Charlie Sell, and present you your just reward in Heaven. Vince Bailey Friend and Classmate |
