Joseph Thomas Farrell

West Point, 1972

Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Glen Harper, MD ' 72 on July 21, 2010:

To Ann and Joseph's close friends and family.
It appears Joe was in C2. I was in H3 and G3 and so our paths could not meet frequently at West Point since it appears we did not belong to similar extracurricular activities. But, I do know that I was right there with him in some way during Beast, our First Class Trip, and at Graduation, perhaps the three most important events of our youthful years together. He is a brother therefore and I mourn with you all, from afar.
Because contributions have been encouraged to Hospice, and, I am a physician, I know it must have been a desparate time at the end. Because his was a Catholic Ceremony, and I am Christian, I know he is now in a better place of everylasting life.
I wish you God's Grace that your hearts may be healed by "The Great Friend and Master of Men."
Glen Harper, MD Class of 1972
