So, Woody, thirty-four years to the date, since we cleared our room in McArthur Barracks - and we departed as the culminating roommates of our years at West Point on 4th Bde Staff - the Lord called you home. I can still see the little Red '63 Corvette Stingray sitting outside the window. Thanks for your service and for being part of the fabric of my life quilt. May your family draw some small comfort knowing that you touched so many lives with dignity and respect... and God will say Well Done! |
