I raise a glass to my lost friend from time to time and wish I had one more spartan run to commemorate a fellowship most dear. I have marched three races to date with the memory of a good friend who sought to make the complicated as simple as: be where you are supposed to be, do what you are asked, and just get it done. I miss this guy more days than anyone would guess and had a round with Peter, Kevin, Frankie, Mike, Beau, and Ben, lest we forget. To Riley and his family; I never have the words. Your grace, as was your son's, is simple. I thank you and I will never forget! |
