Being a roomate of Marty's for a semester, I vividly remember waking up several times in the middle of the night with Marty standing in front of the mirror, frustrated because he was having problems getting his "fro" down. It was of course bigger than anything I had ever seen and I was always amazed at how he was able to mash it down enough to get through hair cut inspections. He was a playful, intelligent and thoughtful man. I am very thankful for the experiences we shared together. I shall miss him. Ray Johnson A-2 |
