| As I made my first visit back to West Point in 35 years, I was saddened to hear of the loss of Marty. I was the Tactical Officer for his company, A2, for three years. Watched this great group of young men grow and develop into what they would become. We talked of Marty at the reunion and missed the opportunity to visit with him and others who have gone onto the Long Gray Line...he was mentioned at the memorial for the lost classmates during the reunion. My wife and I send our condolences to the family and know his memory will provide faith and courage. |
