Its been over a year but it was just today that I got this terrible news. I got to know Jeff during our times in H1. He was enthusiastic, competitive, humorous and genuine. But what was really special was his unique approach to life. I really got to know Jeff better when we served together in the 82d. Jeff took my position as Battery XO in C Battery. Again, there he had a very dynamic approach to life. I don't know of any other way to describe it then to say that it was an honor to get to know him. Based on how he lived his life, I'm sure he's in a better place now. |
