Jim Edwards was a great friend, and a wonderful ambassador for all things West Point. He was the impetus for the first Alumni Swim Meet held in 1979, when I coached the Army Women's Swim Team. Jim assembled many of his teammates, to include members of the undefeated 1945 Team, to reunite at USMA for quite a few Alumni meets after that initial successful event. He will be greatly missed.
