We all came together in I2 our yearling year. Skip was our flanker and always had a big grin and bigger helping hand for each of us. Playing for Coach Knight we all knew he had a big heart and a burning desire to win. I can remember Skip running steps at Michie while the rest of us were enjoying our intramural games. June Week is the first time many of us had a chance to look back at our four years together and think of our futures apart. It was the then I became aware of Skip's dignity of character and his grace of heart. I will miss being at Acton with the rest of you, so I will make my farewell here. Skip, I was lucky to have known you and we have all lost something of great value in your passing. Be thou at peace..... |
