Skip and I had some fun times in years past, and recently, we had some interesting conversations. One of those was truly inspirational when Skip said, "Hanging in there the best I can. Just finished my 26th chemo - going for the record. My son is getting married June 26th in Maine, so I am hoping I can make the call." Skip approached his final season in the same spirit that has become his legacy. He will always be remembered as a great athlete and fierce competitor but mostly as an even better man. It is a privilege to know him. |
