I am a member of the class of 1997, and I am currently the commander of HHC/1BCT/1CD. Dennis worked with my brigade staff for a long time as the Assistant Brigade Engineer, up until taking command of B/20 EN not so long ago. As a staff officer, a leader, a soldier, a family man, and a friend, they don't get any better than this man. Beverly and my prayers go out to all of those who mourn with us the loss of this exceptional individual. May God rest your soul, Dennis, and provide a peace and comfort that transcends our understanding to your family and friends. |
