Be Thou At Peace
Posted by Reine E. on November 29, 2010:
OMG was so surprise when i saw this today on West Point web site. really schocked. I Was wondering why i didn't receive any email or post card and why you just disappear like that. I remember when we where high school graduate and how you were plenty of energy. For your colleagues friend and Family, one of your latest email from 15th of July 2004: Miss u so much......
"Hi Reine, How are you doing, I was so happy to receive your email. Congratulation on your effort, you will get your diploma!! that's oustanding!!, that's something your should be proud of. So what are you going to do this summer to occupy your free time? By the way, what's your hotmail, yahoo or aol screen name. I will be glad to chat with you online. Send me your screen name. By the way, how's your sister? taking care of her? my best regard to your sister. Do you have any plan to visit your relatives in Cameroon sometimes next Xmas? Well, I am ok here. I have an apartment here at the Fort Leonard Wood( my place of training) in the state of Missouri. It is in the middle of nowhere. You have to drive two hours at least to get something good. I mean, there is nothing around except the training facilities. They have everything to make your training enjoyable. The Army has the best installations on post. The rooms for single officers are really good. I live in one of those. I have a big bed( don't see that often because I have to be up everyday at 350AM). There is a bathroom and a kitchen, however I still have to learn how to cook. They don't feed you for lunch and dinner. They only serve breakfast in the morning, you have to cook in order to survive. Ooh well, I learn something. By the time I complete my training, I will be able to cook for myself, everything is a learning experience when you take it the right way. It has been a great experience so far, I am looking forward to share my experience with you sometimes, I would like to learn about your experience as well. You spend a lot of time in France on your own, there are a lot of things to learn frrom you. Reine, we stay in touch, I will write you often because I have some times in the evening. I can write one paragraph before going to bed. I still have a lot of things to read for my classes but it is not like at West Point. I got my Degree in Comparative Politics and System Engineering. It was not easy to manage my free time. I did a lot of writing in Comparative Politics and a lot of problem solving for System Engineering. Reine, I am going to stop here, I am looking forward to read your email again, ] Take care of yourself and enjoy your night, Eric"
