Be Thou At Peace

Posted by David Sullivan-Nightengale on October 19, 2004:

Chris was my fellow classmate and Axeman. We survived Advanced Engineering Mathematics together, and if it wasn't for his help, I wouldn't have made it through Statics and Dynamics at least with a good grade. He was always good with tools and willing to help out. I can remember one time when he volunteered to help build our shelves in the Firstie trunk room when I was injured. He was excellent on spirit missions helping us successfully accomplishing our mission in the face of resilient cadet guards and military police. To his subordinates, he was competent and of inspiring character. To us, he was always a good friend. I remember him telling me how much he wanted to fly, and he died doing what he always wanted. Our nation has lost a great leader, a great engineer, and a great person. He truely lived the company motto, "Be straight or be gone!"
