| I knew Chris from the Scoutmaster's Council. We worked together on the 97 and 98 camporee. He brought together a great, fantastic crew in 98 as our commander of the whole camporee while I worked as his S3. He did an amazing job of holding the staff together particularly when we wanted to beat some sense into each other. I can remember the surprise that our OICs had when we discovered that the commander of the camporee did not branch infantry or armor and instead picked aviation. But he was proud to have picked aviation and I regret that I didn't keep in better contact with him. Chris, thanks for all your leadership - you made a difference whether you realized it or not. God bless and your family is in our prayers. |
