Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Warren Smith on January 26, 2011:

I have seen you infrequently over the years but the images I have of our days after graduation do not fade. We went water skiing on the Potomac river knowing you didn't dare fall off. You fell off and i dove in to save you. When I got there you were standing up talking about the "squishy stuff" between your toes. I surrendered my turn as I may have been the only one that knew at that time the river was a disposal source for the DC sewer system,

I always felt that whenever we met again we could pick up right where we left off. Thankfully we spared your wife those details later OR maybe neither of us could remember.

In any case, God bless you and keep you in the palm of his hand. I look forward to meeting you again in the Great Beyond,

My prayers go with you. Please pray form me.
