| I was saddened to learn of his passing so long after the fact. I met Dana during our Armor Officer Basic Course at Knox in 1990. As our Class Leader, he was always well organized and "large and in-charge." As a person, he was friendly, kind, and very generous...he lent me his car on several occasions while I dated a girl up in Louisville. He was the first Academy graduate that I routinely interacted with...he left with a very favorable impression. I'm sure he led his troops with dignity and respect. A genuine leader and gentleman...who will be greatly missed. |
