Be Thou At Peace

Posted by stanciu on February 9, 2011:

i went on facebook today to reconnect with alfie.
its quite normal of him and i to go long periods of time without talking, but always picking up right where we left off.

i cannot believe im hearing this 2 years after it happened. 2 years. which normally isnt a big deal for communication but to my surprise ill never get that chance again.

im talking with an old friend of mine Kristy who he dated when we marched Glassmen in 2005. her tattoo she got for him is beautiul, i wish everyone could see it.

i cant believe he would do this to himself, its not him.
he had so much more courage than this, why he would take an easy way out is beyond my ability to comprehend. i dont think this is what he really wanted. and i wish i could have talked to him before he went to sleep that night. he wouldnt have done it if i did......i know it.

so here i am in canada, with this awful news, bringing back this painful experience for everyone. im sorry for that, but you have to know, im living this for the first time. tears cant bring him back, this is know. how badly i wish they did.

alfie, i love you, you always knew i did and please take the love from everyone and keep it close. no matter where you are (if anywhere at all) please. i know you love me back, even if we were just in it for our accents ;)
