I will always have fond memories of Mark as a fellow member of the "Wild West." His quick wit and sarcasm always had me laughing. In recent years we were able to reconnect through the wonders of modern technology and I looked forward to his emails that were full of life and laughter. They literally had me laughing out loud as weird as that seems; but it's 100% accurate. His Christmas card this past year was a motivation for me to try and do a better job in finding the time to get back in touch with old friends. It even motivated me to have dinner with Degut on a recent trip out to San Diego so I have Mark to thank for that night that was full of laughter and frosty beverages.
