I have the privilege and many fond memories of having been Mark's Beast Barracks roommate as well as one of his roommates as an upperclassman. Sadly, I never stayed in touch but I think Mark would have had a great laugh if he knew the number of times I have told friends and co-workers stories about him. Mark was equally one of the most brilliant people I have ever known and, at the same time, one of the most humble men any of us may ever meet. I have no doubt anyone who had the privilege of knowing him could fill pages upon pages of both funny and inspiring moments shared with him. Mark, thank you for all the great memories, be thou at peace. |
