Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Michael Monaco on October 20, 2004:

As a young high school grad wearing the Army Uniform for the first time...I'll never forget the day Dennis Pintor, a "prior service guy," walked into our room for the first time and immediately critiqued the dullness of my boots/shoes back in July '03. What followed was 11 years of mentorship and honest friendship at USMAPS and beyond. If it wasn't for his insistence that our room become the "The House of Learning," I doubt I'd be where I am today and am forever thankful. Dennis knew how to work and play hard. I've never known another person soo dedicated and straight with his service to his country, family, and friends. I offer my sincere condolences to Stacy, Rhea, and the rest of his family and friends. "Always the Hard Way-Dennis...I pray his body receives its well deserved rest and his soul continues to inspire and help us to move-on through these tough times.
