Be Thou At Peace

Posted by CPT Blake Stone on October 26, 2004:

I knew Dennis from CAS3 in 2002. I sat next to him for six weeks. While I only knew him a short time, it was more than enough time to realize that he was top-notch in every respect. Dedicated to his family, his country and the Army. He was one of the sharpest officers I have ever known. I agree with the others who have written words to the effect of "Everything he touched was better because of it." We used to always talk about our daughters, who were about the same age. I am deeply saddened by his death. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, little girl, family and friends who had the priviledge of knowing him better than I. I am honored to have known him. He is the kind of guy parents hope their sons grow up to be. I will miss him.
