You are dearly missed Col. Witt. I can't tell you how proud I am of you and how blessed I was to have you as a father. You were an outstanding soldier but even a better father and husband. It is because of you that I love this country, your West Point bretheren, and all those who have fought and sacrificed for this country so that the rest of us can bask in freedom. I salute you Dad (I know how to salute properly because you taught me the proper technique when I was a kid). Thank you for standing for all that is right and for living life with passion, compassion and dedication to God, Family, Friends and Country. |
