CPT Smith, I miss you. We spent 8 months living in that bunker together. I've thought of you everyday since that terrible day in November. My daughter, while only 5, knows who you are and what you did for us all. Today we dedicated a memorial to you and I finally got to meet your mom and dad. I had so much to say to them but couldn't get it out. It took too much to keep from breaking down. Your wife met my plane coming home and she's doing ok. She was strong for us... for you. I remember all the dreams you shared with me. It kills me that you were not able to do them. I love you. I'll never forget. I'll see you at the final roll call my friend.
