Eric, As my platoon leader back at West Point, you always showed me that you cared about your men. We lived right next door to each other. We talked daily and were good friends. You exemplified what it was to be a good officer and a good person. When my roommate?s brother died, I remember how you spent many days making sure that he was ok. You organized and collected donations and as a result, helped him get through that hard time. Goodbye Eric, I will always admire the way you took care of everyone in the platoon, regardless of how you felt about them. Thanks for the good times. Rest in Peace. |
