I met Bob during our Plebe year. We were Sunday School teachers and on the Debate Council and Forum together. I had several classes with him and we were on the Camp Buckner staff together as Firsties. I went through Ranger, Airborne, and AOBC with him after graduation. I didn't get to serve with him after that, but did run into him after graduation at the Pentagon. I considered him a good friend. I was shocked and saddened to learn of his passing. I miss him.
