I met Mike in Beast Barracks during Plebe Year. In addition to being in the Ski Club with him, we had several classes together through the years and we saw each other frequently at Camp Buckner, class trips, etc. Mike was an all around good guy, friendly and cheerful, with a great sense of humor. He was always fun to be around. I was devastated at the news he was killed in Vietnam. I miss Mike. He will be remembered as one of the most highly decorated soldiers in our class. Keith Garner A-2 |
