I met Greg during Beast Barracks and were together on the Debate Council and Forum and at Camp Buckner. I had several classes with him throughout our cadet careers. He was one of the friendliest persons I've ever met (perhaps as a fellow Texan, I was biased), with a great smile and an engaging sense of humor. I was devastated when he was killed in Vietnam.
