I met Ned on the Debate Council and Forum, but got to know him when we were on the Camp Buckner detail our First Class Year. Ned was very friendly, with a ready smile and a quick sense of humor. He was a great cadet and a fine officer. He will be remembered as a great baseball player, one of the best West Point produced. I was devastated when he was killed in Vietnam.
