Be Thou At Peace
Posted by Jacquelyn Krupinsky on June 25, 2011:
My husband, Marv Krupinsky had a special affection for his comrade on the boards in the ski club. Cold ski meets, warm friendship.
Charles planned to come to the reunion this past May, but said a health issue caused him to cancel. Gerry Tausch and I exchanged emails with Charles several times. I will always remember the toast to fallen F-2 classmates that Charles gave at a past reunion. He did a superb job and had hoped to do the same at the 2011 reunion. None of us knew that his health was fragile. I am so glad that we were able to connect with him at reunion time. An email picture was sent of us at the Saturday dinner.
A copy of Kermit Johnson's homily at the class memorial service and a program went to Charles which he enjoyed. I also sent him a copy of the F-2 Company picture from cadet days which we circulated to those at the Saturday dinner.
We missed him then and we miss him now.
Jackie Krupinsky, wife of Marvin Krupinsky, 1951
