Be Thou At Peace
Posted by Tonia Crowley on November 19, 2004:
Eric,
I helped you with your graduation plans since you were an international cadet, but you touched my life with your laughter and sincerity. Even though you left us at 26 short years of life, I know you were doing exactly what you wanted to do with your military training and with the way your touched all the people around you. You shared a lot of your nervousness with me on moving on to the next phase of life, but I always sensed an overwhelming excitement and knew you would continue to do great things and touch people's lives. I was very, very saddened to hear of your passing, and I will always remember you for your proud smiles and never-ending laughter. I wish your family peace in knowing that you shared your life with many and made a positive impact on all the lives you touched, including mine.
thinking of you with a tear in my eye and heartfelt memories of your graduation from West Point,
Tonia Crowley
(West Point Protocol Officer 2001-2004)
