Mrs. Powell and family and friends, I am sorry to hear about your loss, but I am truly grateful for LTG(R) Powell's service and military legacy. I am West Point class of 2002, and my husband, formerly of 1/502nd PIR, is class of 2003. He deployed with the 101st for OIF IV and LTG(R) Powell's legacy was still strong then. I am grateful to you and your family for your service to the Army during those extremely difficult years in our nation's history. May God bring you peace.
