Eric, I learned of your passing on top of a tank in the middle of my final FTX at AOBC, and my immediate thought was of our last conversation before graduation: an invitation to you to come to my home for Thanksgiving. That night, I thought about the four years that I knew you at West Point, and I remembered how our friendship began. During Beast, you would always encourage me to push myself....especially when I struggled going up Bull Hill. The sound of you yelling, "Let's go P! You can do it!" still remains vivid in my mind. I still smile now when I think of that day. I will miss these memories along with so many others; moreover, I will miss your friendship. God bless you my friend. Always, P |
