Happy Birthday in heaven. So many things I want to say to you. But in a great irony, an English teacher is at a loss for words. I've moved forward. I think you would be proud of that. The kids are amazing. I know you would be proud of them. More soldiers are getting treatment for depression now. That is perhaps the best thing to come about in the aftermath of your death. I think more people recognize mental illness as just that, an ILLNESS, not a character flaw. Time has moved forward, but no one has forgotten you. |
