| It's hard to believe that it has been over 40 years since Don and I first met- at the Lee picnic area with our families on Sunday, 18 July 1971. My memories of Don- from our days as B1 roommates, his marriage to his lovely bride, Paula, and, sadly, to his burial at West Point will always be special. I mostly regret that I, too, have never had the opportunity to meet his son, who was born shortly after his tragic death 35 years ago this month. God bless you, Don. |
