Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Clint and Diane Phillips on December 18, 2004:

Although his time on earth was too short, Peter made a great impression on the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him. Peter was one of my roommates at West Point and through the trials and tribulations there we quickly became good friends. I always respected Pete because he had so much integrity, intelligence, and compassion for others. He was a person I turned to for advice in times of personal difficulty, and he was always there for me.

We had many good times together over the years, and I have so many fond memories of my times with him ? from road trips to the football games and going through airborne school, to his eloquent toast at our wedding and his marriage to the love of his life Colleen. I had never seen him as happy as the day he married Colleen. I remember how proud Ron and Bernice were of their son that day, and they always had so much to be proud of.

God Bless you Pete

God Bless those family members who were left behind, Colleen, your children Ron and Mary, and your parents Ron and Bernice. We will always remember you.

Clint and Diane Phillips
