Michael Kuziv, Retired U.S.Army, Lt.Colonel, Born in North Hampton, Pennsylvania on February 22,1916. Michael Kuziv died of heart failure on the evening of March 4,2004. He was a Graduate of the United States Military Academy, West Point,New York, Class of 1940. He later received his Masters Degree from Stetson University in Deland, Florida. Mike Kuziv retired from military service,U.S. Army in 1965 when he and his family moved to Winter Park. In his retirement Mike taught at Winter Park, Colonial and Boone High Schools where he taught Russian Language and General Math. He later founded Aquablue Pool Service, a company which he worked with both his sons Chris and Mark and operated until 2000. Michael Kuziv was survived by his wife of 63 years, Bette,who died on 7 April 2004 and his three sons, Michael H. Kuziv, Christopher T. Kuziv and Mark S. Kuziv. He is also survived by his only grandson Sean Michael Kuziv, The Woodlands,Texas and his sister, Sophie Hopkins and brother, John S. Kusiv are living in Martin County, Florida. Michael Kuziv was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Winter Park.
