I am writing this follow-up note to the memory of Chris. As I wrote on October 16, 2005, Chris encouraged me to lead my three boys to reach the rank of Eagle Scout. Luke, my middle son, achieved the Eagle Scout rank in 2007. Benjamin attained Eagle Scout last night, October 19, 2011. Chris, your legacy has endured with me over the years. Thank you. Furthermore, my two oldest boys, Jack and Luke, are attending West Point. Jack is in the Class of 2012; Luke is in the Class of 2015. As in scouting, they are both eager to serve their country. |
