| Which is the greater challenge? Escape from Dunkirk or the assault at Normandy? MacArthur's retreat from the Philippines or his triumphant return? Col. Kintner, serving in his capacity as Ambassador to Thailand, negotiated the shoals of our exit from Vietnam with resolve and resourcefulness, mitigating chaotic circumstances. He had been through it before and was, indeed, an eye in the storm. |
