Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Heather O'Herin Connors on November 10, 2011:

Today, Camden came into my thoughts as I prepared to teach my Middle School students about the significance of Veteran's Day. I searched Camden's name on the internet, found this picture, and displayed it all day today, as I will display it tomorrow, too, on Veteran's Day.

My students pray for the Military and their families every single day.

Jill & Riley, I am blessed to have known your family. I am so sorry for your loss, and I pray that sharing Camden's story with my present and future students will help them to appreciate Camden's bravery and patriotism, and hopefully, help them learn to appreciate the potential sacrifice of every soldier.

May God bless your family.

~Heather
