| Bill and I were in the 1st armored Division in Germany together when he was G-3. He was instrumental in keeping the Division at peak readiness during a critical time in the Cold War. He was a valuable friend and will be sorely missed by all who served with him or knew him. My heart goes out to the family on this sad occasion. |
