| You continue to show yourself to me nearly every day. You continue to show me that you are there still watching over like the "big brother" I always thought of you as. I have experienced many challanges, heartaches, and disappointments since your passing, but I look to you in those moments for strength. You showed yourself to me yet again the other day when I showed up as a sub for a 25 and over hockey game and the coach threw me a jersey. I felt my eyes fill as I unfolded the jersey only to see you, #24, staring back at me. I pray for you and your family always, but feel comfort whenever I see that number and think of you. I am and will always be forever greatful for the opportunities that you have given me in life. You were a truly great man, a blessing to all who knew you. |
