We have been good friends with Mike and Nancy Ruiz starting with the Engineer Officer Advanced Course. We lived near each other at Stewart when we taught at West Point. Mike was one of the nicest and brightest from the Class of 68 at West Point. It was an honor to know him and to share his humor and insight. Mike was a rare individual who was always performing at his best but would leave that for you to figure out - he did not brag or try to build himself up. We shared many good times and enjoyed his children as well. Nancy has also been a great friend. We care a lot about her and will be praying for her and her family. Bill & Linda Matlach |
