| I don't know why I thought of Spoony this morning but I did. I did not know that he had died. I was in BIOC #1 with him at Fort Benning in 1957.He was a good friend. He and I had identical 1957 Ford's that screamed through the front gate one evening. I never saw Spooney again after we left the "Benning school for boys". He will always live in my memory. A great guy and a model cadet and U S Army Officer.Oh,and,yes,a terrific sense of humor that I hope he passed on to his children. God Bless You, Spooney. |
