Be Thou At Peace

"Danger is no stranger to a Ranger."~Dan

I might not have know Dan as long as other people who might read this or post their own eulogies, but Dan was an enigma of his own. Dan was an amazing person, and I'm saddened that he is no longer with us. Dan was an amazing man and succeeded at anything he did such as being a father, grandfather, husband, teacher, mentor, Ranger, and any other title he may have held along the way. My children were so lucky to have the fortune to have Dan as their grandfather, even if it was for a short time, and I'm saddened to know that there are people in this world who did not give him the love, respect, or time he deserved. Dan became like a father to me in the short time I knew him. He was always very encouraging to me and my aspirations. I hope to become lucky enough to find a love such as the one Dan and Donna were lucky enough to share. I hope my boys do right in life and make Dan smile as he watches on the from heaven. I know he will live in their hearts forever and will be their guiding force which is a major comfort to me. Dan, I love you and miss you! I hope we can all make you proud as you watch over us.
